“Living my dream by bringing your special day to life on canvas”
—
Hello! I’m Anne Gloton, a self-taught oil painter based in Calgary, Alberta. While I studied Architectural Technology in college, art has always been my true passion. I didn’t attend art school, but my love for painting pushed me to learn independently through endless online tutorials, books, and hands-on practice. Over the years, I explored various mediums, including oil pastels, soft pastels, acrylics, and watercolours, before falling in love with the creamy, smooth, and buttery texture of oil paints.
In the summer of 2023, I embarked on a new chapter in my artistic journey: Live Wedding Painting. Combining my love for art with the joy of celebrating life’s most memorable events has been truly rewarding. From connecting with couples and painting as their special day unfolds to entertaining guests with the live process and personally delivering the completed artwork, I’ve fallen in love with every step.
My mission as an artist is to create pieces that evoke emotions and preserve cherished memories. Whether it’s a couple’s first kiss, their walk down the aisle, or a lively reception scene, I strive to capture these moments in a way that resonates for years to come.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and my work. I hope my art brings you as much joy as I find in creating it!

It’s an honour to be featured in the Calgary Guardian as part of their “A Day in the Life” series. This opportunity allowed me to share a glimpse into my world as a live wedding painter.
I’m incredibly grateful for the chance to tell my story and a bio written by someone special to me.
